Manny and Mo

Manny and Mo are 2-year-old brothers who were adopted from us as kittens. Their owner worked in the World Trade Center; he survived, but his job did not. He has had to relocate and can no longer keep these two wonderful cats. Manny, tabby and white, is an extrovert. Mo (black) is shy and depends on Manny for reassurance. The brothers are very devoted to each other and are gentle, loving companions for humans, too. We want them to stay together.

Chauncey and Pinto

Chauncey and Pinto are 2 years old. Chauncey is loving, outgoing, and everything a kitty should be. His partner Pinto is mischievous, playful, and more interested in Chancey than in humans. These guys are best friends and we'd like to place them together.

Peter and Petunia; Kitty

Peter and Petunia are a charming, sweet brother and sister, about a year and a half old, who were rescued as kittens from a garden in Manhattan. They are very attached to each other and need to be adopted as a pair.

Kitty is a strikingly beautiful long-haired tortoiseshell, friendly and affectionate, about 4 years old. She'd prefer to be your only Kitty.

Tony, Eve, Annabelle Lee, Ariel

Tony is a handsome, playful, loving 2-year-old whose original owner was forced to give him up when she moved into special housing with her special-needs child. Since then he's been adopted by a young woman who has become violently allergic to him. Due to his current owner's allergies, Tony needs a new home (foster or permanent) ASAP. He's a great companion who enjoys company and likes to curl up with you at night.

Eve is a very pretty 2-year-old rescued from the street. She's a cat with a strong personality, very playful, energetic, active and smart. Needs some nurturing to help her get over her recent hard times. She could be a single cat, but might do better with a mellow but playful young kitty. She's fascinated by running water and likes playing with faucets. Comes with extra toes on her front paws.

Annabelle Lee was abandoned on a Brooklyn street, where she sat waiting for her people to return. Fortunately a compassionate passerby picked her up and eventually contacted us for help. She's now in a foster home, looking for a secure, parmanent home of her own. She's a sweet, mushy cat.

Ariel is a pretty, petite torbie (tortoiseshell/tabby), about 2 years old, who spent her kittenhood working in a delicatessen. She is spirited, playful and full of personality. She's looking for a home with people who will play with her regularly: she needs attention and recreation. If you you have a very busy schedule, she's not the cat for you. It's possible that she'd enjoy a playful cat companion, too.
